One of the most enjoyable evenings in our Rotary Club year is Theatre Night at The Ferndale Rep! This year's event was a wonderful production of Lettice & Lovage. Always one of the Club's largest fundraisers, the January production raised over $5000 to benefit Fortuna's Suzanne's House as well as Eel River Valley Youth Programs. Thanks to Chair Scott Downie and his great Committee for their hard work on this successful event.

See's Candy Sale

During the Holiday Season virtually every Club member volunteers some of their time selling a variety of See's Candy at the Fortuna Shopping Center. Dean Cunningham championed the event for yet another year with portions of the sales going to the American Cancer Society and also the Club. This Season over $26,000 was sold and THANKS! to the many members who gave their time and to the community for their support.
Sunrise Snack Shack Crew In August the Club participated in the Hops in Humboldt Festival in Rohner Park with a Burger Stand - the best lunch deal in the Park according to some folks. New member Linda Jo Alexander chaired the successful community service/fundraising event.

Apple Harvest Wagon
Once again the Fortuna Sunrise Rotary Club members supported the Clendenen's Apple Harvest Festival by coordinating, outfitting, decorating and driving several "harvest hay wagons" on a route that connected all the festival activities.
